and new families, with new classes being added often. Please

Childbirth
Education
Series
(4
classes)
Learn everything you need to prepare for labor and natural childbirth
in this complete series of 2-hour classes. Topics include how to
recognize true labor, possible complications and how to deal with them,
coping with labor, newborn concerns, and basic newborn care. Expecting
mothers and partners should attend between 28-32 weeks of pregnancy.

Class 3: Complications/Interventions
Class 4: Postpartum, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care

Using
Hypnosis
for
Childbirth
There is an alternative to fear and pain!
These classes teach hypnosis techniques for pregnant couples for their
pregnancy, birth and post-birth experiences. Classes are for pregnant
mothers starting ideally after their first trimester.
Birth partners are encouraged to attend.
Class 1: Getting Started with Hypnosis--education, self-hypnosis,
comfort control, deepening trance levels, glove anesthesia
Class 2: Reframing Birth--future visualizations, meet your baby
Class 3: Healing your Birth Experience--natal regression,
clearing underlying fears and negative conclusions
Class 4: Post Birth Programming--rapid recovery, gettiong back in
shape, milk production
What you can expect from this series: to be relaxed and empowered,
small intimate class size, convenient location, workbook, recordings
for at home practice, free birth partner attendance.

Breastfeeding Baby: Getting Off to the Best Start
This 2-hour class focuses on helping you get off to the best start
breastfeeding baby! Whether this is your first time breastfeeding or
you simply want to improve your skills, you will learn about baby's
natural ability to breastfeed, how to position and latch-on baby
comfortably, fundamentals of milk supply, and much more (mothers are
encouraged to invite their main support person to attend the class,
too).
This class is taught by Teresa Glaser, RN, an International Board
Certified Lactation Consultant with 25 years experience providing
breastfeeding counseling to mothers in the hospital as well as in the
private setting. Teresa's lactation services are highly regarded by
area parents, pediatricians, obstetricians and midwives!

Aquanatal Fitness Series (8 classes) *CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*
Relax and work your birthing muscles gently in these wonderful classes
taught at Gainesville's Dwight H. Hunter public pool. Swim,
float, and
connect with your unborn child in a watery meditation under midwife
Sarah's expert guidance. These classes are a real treat for expecting
mothers. Pool is located at 1100 NE 14th Street in Gainesville.
